5. Wedding Images and Footage

The audiovisual material recorded during the event belongs to the couple. Soul Weddings may retain a copy for archiving and service improvement purposes. Any public or promotional use of such material (website, social media, portfolios, competitions, etc.) will require the express written authorisation of the couple, as stated in the service contract or through a specific image rights release form.

6. Data Retention

Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and, in any case, for the legally required periods. Billing data will be retained for 4 years in accordance with applicable tax regulations. Audiovisual material will be retained for 2 years from the date of delivery to the client, unless otherwise instructed.

7. Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We may only share it with service providers necessary for the delivery of our services (e.g. cloud storage services, video delivery platforms, payment providers), always under confidentiality agreements and in compliance with applicable data protection law. Any collaborators or additional camera operators working on the event will equally be bound to respect data privacy.

As a production company working with weddings around the world, we may in some cases need to transfer or process data in countries outside the European Economic Area.
